If your Google Play Store is stuck on “Waiting for download” and apps won’t install or update, follow these steps to fix the issue.
Solution 1: Check Your Internet Connection
Make sure your device is connected to a stable Wi-Fi or mobile network.
- Switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data.
- Restart your router if using Wi-Fi.
- Turn Airplane Mode on and off.
Solution 2: Check for Pending Downloads
If multiple apps are downloading, one may be blocking others.
- Open Google Play Store.
- Tap your profile picture and go to Manage apps & device.
- Under Updates available, cancel any unnecessary downloads.
Solution 3: Clear Google Play Store Cache
Corrupted cache files may prevent downloads.
- Go to Settings → Apps.
- Find Google Play Store and tap it.
- Go to Storage & cache.
- Tap Clear cache and Clear storage.
- Restart your device and try downloading the app again.
Solution 4: Check Date and Time Settings
