Windows 11 in S Mode only allows apps from the Microsoft Store. To check if your device is in S Mode:

  1. Press Windows + R to open the Run dialog.
  2. Type winver and press Enter.
  3. If you see “Windows 11 in S Mode,” you need to switch out of S Mode.

Step 3: Disable S Mode in Windows 11

If your system is in S Mode, follow these steps to disable it:

  1. Open Settings by pressing Windows + I.
  2. Go to SystemActivation.
  3. Under Switch to Windows 11 Home or Pro, click Go to the Store.
  4. Click Get to disable S Mode (this process is free but cannot be undone).

Step 4: Install Your Application
